In this quilt we HAD to highlight the tie dyed t-shirt. It was threadbare and full of holes by the time it was allowed to be cut up and put in a quilt.
Once these things get stabilized and quilted, they look like the treasures they are, not the rags they were on the way to becoming. The most interesting one I ever added was an ancient pair of boxer shorts.
